Vinnytskyi Regional Art Museum

Vinnytskyi Regional Art Museum

The Vinnytsia Regional Art Museum was founded in 1987 and is housed in a two-storey building of the historical and architectural complex "Mury". Its first permanent exhibition opened in 1993, and since 2005 the museum has included a research department, the O. H. Lutsyshyn Museum of Pottery. Over decades of work it has become the leading art centre of the region and an important centre for researching and promoting fine, decorative and applied art. As of the end of 2025 the museum's collection numbers more than 15,000 items: paintings, graphic works, sculpture, decorative and applied art, archival materials and artists' personal belongings. The collection includes works by prominent Ukrainian painters and sculptors as well as valuable examples of 17th–19th-century European art. The museum keeps enlarging its collection, holds exhibitions and cultural events and remains an open space for everyone who values art.
